About Rakowitz Engineering & Surveying
Over 18 years ago a local South Texan decided the best way to serve his community would be to begin his own engineering & surveying company. Walt Rakowitz left the San Antonio River Authority and began Rakowitz Engineering. We now have a talented team that encompasses experience in master planning, street design, utility, sewer, and water design. In addition, we supply our own surveying services. Our prime focus is smaller communities, municipalities, and developers in South Texas who need a partner to produce quality engineering and a common-sense approach. We believe in slow, solid growth without incurring debt, and it has served our firm well. We have continued with strong growth, repeat clients, and countless positive references. At Rakowitz Engineering we want to promote growth but preserve heritage.
