Mrs. Rakowitz is a lifelong Texas Resident. While attending Texas A&M, she began her career in the hotel industry.  After graduation she worked her way to become the General Manager of a boutique hotel near the River Walk in Downtown San Antonio.  Later Mrs. Rakowitz took her experience and joined the finance department at the San Antonio River Authority, eventually handing purchasing for the institution.  Eventually she left the River Authority to take on the majority ownership of Rakowitz Engineering.  Bringing her financial experience and knowledge, she has grown Rakowitz Engineering and Surveying to a major firm in South Texas.

Mr. Rakowitz has spent his career in South and Central Texas.  As the President of Rakowitz Engineering, he help coordinate operation of the business and its staff.  He also maintains involvement with projects and clients of the firm.  Past experiences with other firms and public agencies has allowed for a vast variety of projects including utility systems, commercial and residential developments, energy sector projects, traffic control, and structural engineering.  This variety has allowed Mr. Rakowitz to represent his clients through a wide range of challenges. Mr. Rakowitz also broadened his expertise by becoming a registered professional land surveyor.  This addition allowed Rakowitz Engineering to expand its services and offering in house surveying.

Mr. Koether has over 16 years of experience in land development in South and Central Texas.  Serving as project manager and designer, he is responsible for commercial, single and multi-family residential, institutional, industrial and municipal projects.  Mr. Koether provides oversight of projects from beginning to end and is the clients point of contact for project related issues and provides coordination with public entities.  He coordinates and oversees permitting with local, state and federal agencies and performs construction administration for projects and provides coordination with contractors during the construction phase. With a broad range of past projects, Mr. Koether has experience in residential and commercial developments, institutional projects, higher education and K-12 educational projects.  His experience includes extensive CDBG, USDA, GLO and HMGP funded projects and water system design from master planning, design, through construction of such projects.
